Hello, I'm just writing to thank Artemis Gallery and Mr. Dodge (I love his tutorials on Youtube!) for offering the items I have recently won at auction. To imagine that an example of a Kouros and a beautiful bronze Cycladic idol, not to mention a "Master of Animals" bronze standard from Luristan, would be within my reach is hard to believe. The added assurance of what Artemis Gallery stands for and your amazingly detailed descriptions have fired my imagination and launched many a happy research excursion after enjoying your auctions. The items are exquisite. I have great concern about not engaging and abetting any part of the plundering of antiquities. It is important that I collect with confidence that this is not the case. Thank you so much for your obviously thorough vetting and knowledge. I look forward to learning and growing in my knowledge of art history and collecting ancient examples of human creativity with the help of Artemis and the Dodges in the future. I have purchased from maybe 5 other auction houses and Artemis is the most professional and efficient in handling responses and fulfilling the transaction.

My main interest is in Egyptian artifacts, and not infrequently I have encountered significant inaccuracies in the descriptions given by Artemis, including misattributions, questionable dating, and incorrect translations. When I have pointed out such issues, Artemis staff, to their credit, have always been quite gracious about it and willing to make amendments. Nevertheless, a question that persists for me is: "If they are wrong about this, what else might they be wrong about?" I expect better of a dealership that proudly advertises its trustworthiness and commitment to authenticity. I'd prefer to keep this observation between myself and Artemis, as I don't want to damage their business, which, overall I support and value. I've purchased numerous items from them and I look forward to seeing what they have to offer in future.

They have been great! The only issues I have had are latency issues with bids that do not get processed before the next lot durning the love auction.

Simply amazing. I receive such excitement and delight when I receive a box from Artemis and slowly unwrap to reveal an ancient object in my hand. Communication and invoicing is clear and fast. No complaints really. If I were to make one suggestion, there is confusion about auctions and whether I should register/bid through Invaluable or Liveauctioneere or...? Maybe it's to offer options based on preference. I don't understand. Thanks!

The delivery proces was confusing, after customs clearance change of agents. Delivery was stated done, but I received nothing. Made a call to Artemis. They were very helpful and Alice Downs did a lot of research and found the correct solution. Package was delivered with Postnl. i. s. o. UPS. A very grateful customer!! Tony (the Netherlands)
