The auction went fine, the piece is as described, but in retrospect I just feel that Artemis 'prices are higher than other auction houses for similar items. I'd purchase from them again if the piece were truly exceptional and well-priced, but I'll be much more careful in the future about comparing costs.

Not inexpensive, but quality rarely is. Items start a little high, but an interesting post-auction offering as well, although one does best to take the first round opening bid. Interesting things, well represented, and impressively handled. Have been repeatedly satisfied with Artemis.
