In my experience of participating in auctions, buying rarefied and oftentimes obscure objects, I found Artemis to be-first and foremost-holders of quite remarkable antiquities-but too, they're communicative, they have scholarly intentionality about how they look at their offerings, they show provenance and they define the historical context. As well, uniquely, they manage shipping and handling, and, as a result, it's seamless and well-organized translation for studies of their offerings, participation in bidding, acquiring, paying for and receiving objects from the far past.

The quality of professionalism is evident in every aspect of my transaction.

I purchased a robust (25 inch) Persian powder horn at auction, and realized that it would flop over on its side without a stand (of course).
