This was the first time I did business with this auction house and it proved to be an excellent venture. The item is beautiful and exactly as described. Payment was an easy transaction and the item was shipped quickly and carefully packaged. Highly recommend this firm.

Good quality items, mostly as described. One item I purchased was sold as a Shelley tea set but was marked otherwise when I received it. They did not respond to my question about why they sold it to me as Shelley when it was made and marked Czech. Since I didn't pay much for it and didn't want to hassle with shipping it back it was OK, but annoying. Everything else was of good quality and as described, and all very well packed

I purchased a lovely carved wood and Bakelite brooch at Ridley’s auction of vintage Bakelite and collectible plastic jewelry. Ripley Auctions clearly did a fine job authenticating the jewelry; No telltale signs of fakes in this auction! The vintage brooch I purchased was more compelling and beautiful in person than in Ridley’s description and pictures. I treasure this brooch. Thank you, Ripley, for bringing it to auction.

I do lots of shipping. Materials ae expensive and what they charge is very fair. What is important is my precious items getting to me in pristine shape, after all I came to an auction to get something I can't buy just anywhere. They did a great job and it is appreciated.
