The worst experience I have ever had on Live Auctioneers. I had to contact American Express in order to get my money back.

I'm not overly fond of some of the Manhattan auction houses but La Belle Epoque was a very pleasant exception. At every stage they were helpful, friendly, courteous and efficient. Since we were out of town, I had to send our building's super to pick up my 'winnings' and he said they terrific to deal with. Two thumbs WAY up. (AND they had some great stuff, too!)

This piece of art exceeds all my expectations. Much more vibrant and beautiful than I imagined. The shipping and packing was the best I've ever had in all the many pieces of art I've received through the mail. It was early and Carlos at ThePackengers is a master of packing. can't wait to display my prized possession.

I found out that the auction house is, in fact, a short subway ride away from where I live. I had paid for shipping, but when I decided to pick up personally, and explained the situation, I was cheerfully promised a refund by LiveAuction's shipping group. As for the auction house itself, the ladies that were on duty when I was there were very cheerful, chatty, helpful and in every way positive and charming. Also, perhaps to the point, careful in wrapping up my purchases. It left me with a very positive impression of them, personally, and their firm.

I was sick when I won this auction and the auction house administrators could not have been kinder and more helpful. I will definitely be looking to buy from them again. Greta deal... and Fantastic experience!

Box had both ends ripped off. What a disappointment!
