I won a Gretsch Billy Bo guitar that was listed in the auction as previously owned by Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. Prior to the auction, I asked what evidence would be provided to prove Gibbons once owned this guitar. ICZ responded that they would provide a letter from the current owner describing how he received the guitar from Gibbons. The item listing stated third-party certificate of authenticity would also be provided. After winning the auction, I requested copies of the documentation and the guitar's serial number and was told by ICZ that everything was already packed up for shipment. Two weeks later, I received a late-2005 model of the Billy Bo guitar with case and Grestch paperwork. The package did not include the promised letter or the COA. The guitar also has a small dent in the back that was not disclosed in the auction listing. I contacted ICZ about the missing documentation and their story changed saying they always send that separately and it should arrive any day. A month later I have not received any documentation. ICZ no longer responds to my emails with promises the documentation will arrive soon. I received a very good used Gretsch G6199 guitar and case. Gretsch told me they shipped it to a guitar store in Missouri in December 2005. The guitar store told me did not have records going back to 2005, but the likelihood of Gibbons purchasing a guitar he helped create with Gretsch at a retail store is very low. Once I had the guitar's serial number, it took very little effort to learn this was not one of the G6199s Gretsch gave Gibbons as part of their deal. Since ICZ did not provide me with a Gibbons-owned Gretsch Billy Bo Guitar, I offered to return the guitar/case to them for a full refund, or to retain the guitar/case and receive a a refund of half the purchase price as I only received half of what was offered. ICZ has offered nothing to correct this situation. Run, don't walk, from any auction item offered by ICZ Auctions.

It was a great overall experience. I've never heard of the authentication service for the COA and couldn't find anything on them but I'm a reseller and made more than double my money back. Great album for the price anyway

Buying was easy. It came with a COA but I'm not certain it was legit as I couldn't find anything about the authentication company. But very cool collectible. I resell items and I sold it for double what I paid, so overall good experience! I asked a question about the authentication and got no answer.

Bought 2 items, JSA said both were fakes.

Quite a few serious Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio collectors like myself doubt the signatures are authentic. If this is the case, I spent over $200 for a photo.

you were told not to send items but you did any way I sent them back why don't you listen when told what to do
