Huge mahogany corner cabinet China by Neuman & Co. with long claw foot legs, fluted columns with Corinthian top and beaded fine carving and wonderful broken Arch pediment crest. I believe this to be a custom-made piece for someone that was tall. This has a display top with wood lattice over the glass doors and storage space underneath. Behind each door are separate compartments because both top and bottom compartments are divided with a centerboard. This is a very unusual feature whereas most would open revealing the whole interior of the cabinet but this one is divided in quarters. I have the original brass key for the two glass doors but I do not have the flat key which is needed for the solid bottom doors.This has the original paper label on the back which reads, Neuman & Co. Furniture and decorations, 263 fifth avenue, New York.Circa 1900105" tall x 49 1/2" wide & 32" depth at the center.
