Condition Statement Bid with confidence. All lots are sold as genuine, unless otherwise indicated. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. A Condition Report (estimated grade) of a given lot, if available, may be found in the description of the lot. Condition reports (estimated grades) are provided as a courtesy and are based solely on opinion and observation and are NOT a guarantee. Condition reports carry no guarantee, implied or otherwise, of their correctness. Existence of a condition report for a given lot does not presume that all aspects of a particular lot have been analyzed. While every reasonable effort is made to respond to all requests for condition, due to the volume of requests, Don Black Company cannot guarantee that all requests will receive a response. Lots accompanied by an Expert Certification (COA) or which are slabbed, encapsulated or graded by a reputable third party service, shall not be subject to re-certification or regrading. All efforts have been made to accurately describe the lots. Any lot described incorrectly must be returned intact in the original unopened and undamaged packaging within 7 days of receipt. Photos may not be to exact scale, and do not constitute an incorrect description. Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogs may not include condition reports. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or free from normal wear and imperfections related to age and use. We make every effort to show images of lots as large and as clearly as possible. Bidders are strongly encouraged to satisfy any questions as to condition by personal inspection or by either telephone or e-mail condition report requests prior to placing a bid on any lots in which they have an interest. Returns and Refunds Here at the Don Black Company we are committed to the satisfaction of our clients, and will accept returns and make refunds for requests made on lots within 7 business days of the close of the auction. The following are not returnable for any reason whatsoever: a) Lots containing multiple items (whether photographed or not) because of value; b) lots described as containing items with faults or defects; c) lots inspected by floor bidders or postal viewers; d) lots described 'as is' or in 'mixed' condition; e) photographed lots for reasons of centering, cancellations, margins or perforation faults; f) lots may NOT be returned due to 'grading' since it is highly subjective; and g) lots altered from their condition at time of sale, including the addition of authentication markings, even if not genuine. If your auction invoice is not paid in full within 7 business days of receipt, all lots will be rendered not returnable for any reason.
