Handley & Sassoon - Colonial Arts, Antiques & Artefacts. We specialise in arts, antiques & artefacts from the Colonial Treaty Ports & China Trade eras. Operating from our gallery & showrooms in the Heritage-listed "Embankment Building" located along "the Bund" - Shanghai's historic waterfront district. Founded by passionate, lifelong collector with roots stretching back 5 generations in China, Geoffrey Handley. Handley & Sassoon is in homage to "the grandfather of Shanghai" Victor Sassoon, who built much of Shanghai & the Treaty Ports & whose legacy can be seen across Shanghai's cityscape & skyline today.
