Established in 2018 as an online and by-appointment exhibition space, Seagrave Gallery has rapidly ascended to one of the leading galleries in classic photography. Representing primarily West Coast masters, including Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, and Carleton Watkins, Seagrave focuses primarily on nature photography and its development over 150+ years.
In an effort to stimulate the photography market during the COVID-19 shutdown, Seagrave Gallery is offering a premium selection of important prints from its collection, along with those of fellow collectors and dealers. To lower the entry-level for new collectors, we're offering these works at reserves significantly lower than their retail values. Encouraging a new generation to learn about and collect the history of photography is our long-term priority.

Helped with shipping issue
We purchased a photograph from the gallery but failed to notice we still had our old address listed. The artwork was sent to our old house, but we found out after the items was shipped. We got in touch with the gallery and they were able to track our package and re-route it to the other side of the country to our new house.... Thank you so very much for all of your help.

Friendly, professional and responsive.

The west coast needs a forum for photography.
I hope you can consider making this an ongoing feature with higher levels of curation, (photo-litho's for example) than the regular auction house provides. In the 80's, 90's Butterfield (later Bonhams) had 2 auctions a year with 300 = 400 lots. All of those images need to be seen again (think Robert Frank's-Trolley, New Orleans) My best and thanks for what you do.
