The description of the Herm è s scarf states it was in excellent condition and never worn yet when I received it it has holes in an area which looked like it was hit by too hot an iron on the silk. The corners were frayed indicating it was well worn! Now the Auction house will NOT call me back regardless of the fact I have called two times a day for the last week! Very dishonest auction house!!!

These guys clearly do this as a sideline. When you call their number, they answer waterfront auctions by daum. Hopefully they are better At waterfront auctions than they are merchandise auctions. Bought an Herm è s scarf on line that they rated condition excellent. When we received it, the scarf was full of stains and makeup stains that could not be removed by the cleaners. They clearly don’t know what they are doing as it pertains to merchandise auctions. Also had a horrible time organizing the shipment. They don’t respond to calls or emails. Never again!

Datum, when contacted, were beyond helpful!! They went out of their way to make sure my item arrived! Great phone conversations, helpful people. I certainly would bid their auction again!!!

Company delivered the coin i got and no fuss no muss

KEPT MY MONEY AND IGNORED ME UNTIL MONTHS LATER THEN REFUSED TO REFUND. MISREPRESENTED THEMSELVES. I TOTALLY QUIT BIDDING ON AUCTIONS AFTER THE NIGHTMARE MR DAUM PUT ME THROUGH. WE ARE STILL IN DISPUTE AND HE WONT REFUND MY MONEY. THIS AUCTION HOUSE IS RAN BY A THIEF. HE WILL SCAM YOU AND BRING YOU HELL.

Purchases plate over 30 days ago. Never received item. 3 emails and 4 phone messages have gone unanswered. Very unprofessional. I will now start the process of receiving a refund.

Very unprofessional. I never received my auction item, and you don't return calls or emails. Terrible experience.

They were impossible to communicate with. I emailed, no response. I called, message box full, unable to leave messages. I had trouble getting shipping worked out with them until you intervened and then I asked about a certificate of provenance and was assured there would be one, but when my item finally arrived, no provenance. So I started the process all over again trying to communicate with them to no avail. That issue STILL isn't resolved. NEVER AGAIN.

When you only have one shipper for items under $100, it's imperative that they respond to requests. As it turns out, they were out of the office the whole week-they called me the following week but no one would know that they were out of pocket. You guys did an excellent job of assisting me, packing and shipping. Thank you!

Poor packing resulted in the orrefors vase being broken during shipping. Now the question is, was insurance provided and how difficult will it be compensated for the loss.

This auctions house would be better run from a bunch of preschoolers. Jerry and Eileen are great at offering up excuses and lies instead of taking care of their business (i. e. the bidders who pay them). I encourage everyone to take your business elswhere. You will be disappointed here... Guaranteed.

Extremely poor experience. First, though I paid immediately, they provided no shipping info. I had to write and call several times before they finally realized they had never shipped the item. When it did show up, the box had been partially crushed. There was a sticker on it from the post office that it had been delivered to them in a damaged state. Amazingly, the vase was not damaged though the box was partially crushed. Second, and more important, the product that was shipped to me is NOT the product I bought. The advertised product that I paid for was a 14.5 "tall Studios trumpet vase-this is clearly stated in the auction advertisement (I have saved a screenshot). What was shipped to me was the far less valuable 12" version. If this was an honest mistake, it should be easy to fix. But I have repeatedly engaged the auction house to get this rectified, and I have gotten zero response from them. I have also engaged LiveAuctioneers, and they sent one short email to the auction house-which they did not respond to-and they have done nothing since though I have engaged them several times to follow up. Very disappointed with Auctions by Daum and Liveauctioneers. I will be posting similar reviews online with TrustPilot and elsewhere if this is not addressed within a few more days.

Items are not as described.

Interaction with them seemed good at first but now that auction is over, im disappointed. I am still waiting on shipping arrangements. Auctions by Daum have been unresponsive to messages sent through ‚ Ä ú ask auctioneer a question ‚ Ä ù on live auction. They don ‚ Ä ô t answer their phone sometimes and when they do, I get passed around. The person I was working on shipping with, Matt, has not returned any messages I have left on their phone. Trying to work with UPS store now to arrange pickup and shipping.

Description of item changed without notification to me but auction house rescinded the sale
