Auction Services: Catalog Auctions: Most often held in one of our galleries, a catalog auction consists of fine jewelry, diamonds, timepieces, coins, original art, bronzes, silver, jade, pottery, glassware, collectibles, antiques and specialty auctions. Catalog auctions are ordered / lotted sales to include high resolution photos, full catalog descriptions, estimates, condition reports and expansive marketing to a global audience of millions of serious collectors and buyers. A catalog auction utilizes a multi-medium bidding & marketing platform through live / absentee Internet venues floor / on-site, absentee and live telephone. On-site estate consultations and sales: Manor provides on-site estate consultations to assist in the strategic planning in the evaluation, marketing and sale of the tangible assets within the estate. Each estate and situation is different, so likewise, each estate must have a tailored solution. An estate consultation will result in a powerful and effective approach that focuses on maximizing the value of each item within the estate. Private treaty / retail sale: Certain items may be tied to a specific benchmark, market or fixed price, which means whether the item is sold privately or through auction, the value realized would most likely be the same. A good example of a fixed market item would be bullion. In these situations, it is in the best interest of the seller to have Manor purchase, sell or transact the product privately (outside auction) as there would be no monetary net advantage to auction.
