Where items are post auction?
Communication is poor. Altho items were paid for immediately upon receiving invoice, no further action appears to have been taken by auction house. Still have no idea if my articles have been shipped-over 2 weeks have passed.

Small interesting objects like the photos with TL test
Small objects very interesting as in the photos:) and without bad surprises or hidden defects as for some other auction houses! For the Valdivian statuette, the TL test is a more appreciable! Thank you!

Great auction house to deal with
I have always had a great experience with this auction house. They are knowledgeable and very responsive and items are very carefully packed for shipping. I have never had a negative issue with them.

got the run around on damage done do to bad packing and bad shipping
talked to the owner still nothing they did to help said there packers never have a bad day! even sent in picks the shipper and I opened to with shipping co. and he took pictures! they sent more run around with this gallery says need more info, can tell there where not helping me been dealing with liveauctioneers for years, this was like pulling teeth on no help that why needed to say ********** poor help and cover there ********** CO

We were never provided with the requested picture of a damaged Artemis Gallery item sent to you, nor were we provided with any evidence or pictures of any substandard packaging/materials or any statements or documentation from the shipping company. We therefore were unable to respond to your claims of damage during shipment due to poor packaging. One of the best.
Well researched and written descriptions. Prompt replies to questions or request for additional images. Great in house shipping at fair prices. Fragile items double boxed. All available documents included in shipping, from original auction descriptions to TL testing reports. This house is the best at disclosing restoration’s, repairs, overpainting, and I feel very comfortable knowing the condition of what I am buying. While I have not ever used it, they have a reasonable, stated return policy if something was represented improperly. Clearly they stand behind what they are selling and know what it is well enough to have their team of researchers and description writers give you more information than 99 % of other houses. You won’t see two sentence descriptions and one picture because they do not actually know what they are selling like some houses. Buying things on the Internet you can’t physically inspect is always a gamble. It is much less so when buying from this auction house. BRH

One of my favorite auction houses!
As a dealer, I interact with auction houses on a regular basis and this is truly one of the best houses. I requested some additional documentation on my items and Artemis Gallery jumped through hoops to get me the information and documentation I needed. My request was not a simple one and they stepped up and made it happen. I am delighted with Artemis Gallery and look forward to working with them in the future.

It took longer than I expected to receive and what I received did not include the full price.
I loved the painting. It concludes my Soyer collection. I now have all three brothers. The frame is ratty, but it is probably an original.

Hi Edythe, When you say the full price was not included, are you referring to the price on the Certificate of Authenticity and Packing List? We only include the hammer price on the COA and packing list and not the buyer's premium. The buyer's premium is a fee and is not related to the actual value of the piece. Dealing with Artemis Gallery was an enjoyable experience.
